23. Starting now. Feels kind of weird. I always thought that by the time I’m 23 everything would be different and I’d be living this super awesome chill life by now. Is 16 year old me happy with how our life turned out to be? I actually do think he’d be stoked.

We’re tattooed, go to shows, have a ton of merch and are one month away from a Uni degree. We’ve seen all the bands HE wanted to see. We did everything HE wanted to do. Is present me happy tho?

When I boil it the fuck down, I guess I’m doing pretty alright. I’ve got great friends, school’s fine, I’m not hurting for cash and I basically party every week. I’m acting like it’s still my freshman year and today won’t be any different. I still ride a skateboard to school and I still listen to weird bands nobody is really into.

And even if I pretend like it’s not happening, I AM growing up. Slowly. Until then, I’ll be the guy who’s out till 6 am on a Wednesday.
